Hydro dipping is a fun and easy way to transfer full color images onto ceramic objects. In this one day workshop, students will learn to print their own images onto pre-made ceramic tiles of difference shapes and sizes.
Students can expect to make two ~4×5 inch pieces. During the workshop students will select the images and tiles that work best together and transfer the images. Tiles will then be processed by the studio and be available for pick up in 1 week.
Note: After registration, students will be asked to provide two images via Google Form which will be printed on special PVA hydrographic film ahead of the workshop. Students who do not send images by the deadline prior to the workshop will be provided sample images to transfer.
Already have ceramic work you’d like to print on? Feel free to bring it! You may bring up to two ceramic objects under 5×5×5 inches, made out of a light clay body, and glazed in a clear or light glaze. For best results, outside pieces should have a flat surface for the hydro transfer. Email us at hello@pyra.nyc with any questions.
Cancellations must be made 1 week in advance to be eligible for a partial refund ($25 cancellation fee). Absences are non-refundable.
