6 week course, held on Thursday nights from June 4 to July 9

This beginner friendly handbuilding class is an approachable introduction to working with clay by hand. Students will learn foundational techniques like pinching, coiling, slab building, surface design, and glazing while creating their own unique ceramic pieces from start to finish. Whether you’re interested in functional pieces, sculptural work, or simply trying something new, this class is designed to help you build confidence and enjoy the process of making.

Price includes instruction, unlimited studio clay, tools, glazes and firings.
Students have access to one open studio session per week to independently practice skills learned in class. Open studios are held on Wednesday 6:30-9PM and Saturday 10:30AM-1PM.
Students can expect to complete approximately 3–4 finished pieces during the course.
Classes are limited to 8 people.
Pieces measuring 12 inches or larger in any direction will incur additional firing fees. Oversized work is charged at $0.04 per cubic inch for bisque firing and $0.04 per cubic inch for glaze firing, per piece.
Our classes are designed to support learning, creativity, and skill-building rather than high-volume production. We encourage students to slow down, experiment, and enjoy the process of making by hand.
Cancellations must be made 1 week before the first day of class to be eligible for a partial refund ($25 cancellation fee). Absences are non-refundable.
