Students will learn the fundamentals of throwing while building confidence creating their own functional ceramic pieces from start to finish. Along the way, we’ll cover essential techniques like trimming, handle attachment, and surface design techniques, and more. Expect a relaxed, creative environment where you can slow down, get your hands dirty, and experience the joy of making something from scratch. There’s nothing quite like drinking your morning coffee from a mug you made yourself!

Additional Info:

• Students have access to one open studio session per week to independently practice skills learned in class. Students have access to open studio between weeks 2-5 of their class.
